- Arrival by Car:
– driving south on the Interamericana Highway: San Jose – San Isidro del General – Palmar Norte – Chacarita
– or on the Pacific Cost road Costanera: (San José) – Jaco – Dominical – Palmar Norte – Chacarita.
There is a lot to see and many nice places to rest during your drive to Suital, take your time and turn your trip to a „Day-Tour“.
Travel time from San Jose to Suital is about 5 to 6 hours depending on the route you take. Due to road conditions, they are not always in best shape, we recommend to arrive at the Lodge before darkness .
At the gas station „Corcovado“ in Chacarita take the road to Puerto Jimenez. After 17 miles you will arrive at SUITAL.
- Arrival by Bus:
The bus company runs daily from San Jose to Puerto Jiménez. Departure times may vary depending the season.

- Arrival by Plane:
SANSA and NATURAIR offers daily flights to Palmar Sur and P. Jimenez. Both fly from the same airport in San Jose: Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO).
Go further by bus or taxi to SUITAL Lodge – transfer can be organized.
