In the middle of the tropical rainforest of the "Reserva Forestal de Golfo Dulce" on Peninsula Osa you find our SUITAL Lodge (see map). Connecting the National Parks of Corcovado and Piedras Blancas, the reserve has an important function in preserving the unique biodiversity of Peninsula Osa.

The 69 acres of hilly and tranquil private property present mainly primary and secondary humid forest (see photo). A well marked network of private trails leading to the sea invites you to explore the exotic flora and fauna of the area. Ten acres of "wild" gardens surround the lodge offering a big diversity of exotic agricultural crops and ornamental plants (see map). If you like, we would be glad to take you on a little tour.

SUITAL Lodge offers three rustic and spacious wood cabins, created with loveable details. The wood used for building the cabins has been from fallen trees only. Not a single tree had been cut down. The outer walls have been left natural without any treatment, which causes a very rustic look. Inside, the homey rooms are comfortable with polished wood floors, ceiling fan, mosquito nets and lots of shelf space.
Each cabin comes with two beds (double/single) and a private bathroom with hot shower. Just relax and enjoy the views from your private porch and hammock!

We offer to have breakfast and diner in our main house, if requested. Try our mixture of local and international dishes, combined with lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. Our homemade bread is delicious! For your lunch we do not offer any warm meals but would be glad to provide a lunchbox.
